So Thankful

This year we have so much to be thankful for!!  Happy Thanksgiving from the Hoscheks!
We are so thankful for these boys:
We started off the holiday weekend by visiting the library to get some books and a video.  Since we are planning Teddy's birthday party, and he wants a Winnie the Pooh party, we checked out several Pooh books and a movie.
Movie/popcorn night with our fancy TV:
(Shae has to hook it up through our laptop since our dvd player no longer works)
Thanksgiving morning Shae and Teddy went for a canoe ride on Martin Lake while Leo and I enjoyed a long walk.
This little turkey was excited for his first Thanksgiving:
And this big turkey was excited to play with cousin Violet:
 The kid's table:
My dad's 70th birthday fell on Thanksgiving this year.  So appropriate since we are so grateful he is such a young 70.  When I told Teddy, "Today is Grandpa's real birthday" (since we just celebrated it with the big party a few weeks ago) he replied excitedly, "Grandpa has TWO real birthdays?!"
My mom didn't have a 7 candle, but she had a 4, 2, and 1 which add up to 7...
 Leo enjoying the festive excitement:
Leo is getting bigger... maybe he is ready for the bumbo?
 Maybe not quite yet:
My Aunt Terry and Uncle Dale sent us this adorable blanket and teddy bear for Leo:

We got this onsie from our Dr. at Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine.  Can't think of much better advertisement for them than this little guy:
And I was SO excited that Leo now fits into the infamous cowboy monkey outfit!!!
 Yehaw!
I also broke out this shirt yesterday (it says: beware, I am teething).  Not only does it fit him now, but we think it may be appropriate.  Leo has been shoving his entire hand in his mouth, he has been drooling all of the sudden, and has been fussy when trying to eat.  And it looks like his bottom gums are swollen. Teething is not fun!
Grandma Judy gave us these fun Chanukah decorations.  Teddy had a blast putting them up:
Our friend and neighbor Nicole had a teddy bear picnic birthday party on Saturday and the boys were told to bring their favorite teddy bears.  Leo was excited:
Teddy's favorite part of the party...
The chocolate bear he got!
My college friend Courtney and her children stopped by for a quick visit as they were driving through town from Floriday to Nashville.  Teddy was so thrilled to play with them again!
Since we didn't host Thanksgiving dinner this year, we didn't have some of our traditional favorites, nor did we have any leftovers.  So we decided to have our own mini Thanksgiving lunch on Sunday.  Here is Shae enjoying mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and mac and cheese.  The pumpkin pie and chocolate ice cream he made were amazing too!
We hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving.  We are so grateful for all of our blessings.  Especially these two guys:

Just when I thought I was caught up....

I found these pictures! This will just be a random post then!
Brotherly Love:
 Fancy PJ's:
 Our growing boy:
I think Teddy has gotten used to be being a big brother:  (note he is "typing" on his "computer"):
In between taking care of these beautiful boys, I have been busy with cake pops again. I was so excited to help with my dear friend Wendy's baby shower:
 Love this family!
And last but not least... our pumpkin carving:
Our sad attempt at an "Elmo" pumpkin.  Thankfully Teddy still loved it!
 Best part about little boys?
 The snuggles they give!
 More brotherly love:
 Fall fun with friends:

Making slime at our neighbor's house:
Teddy caught a big fish, and asked me to take a picture to send to Dad!  So funny!
Last but not least.... you would cry too if your mommy dressed you funny:

A Weekend of Reunions

This weekend was so much fun!  We started off Sat. morning by watching my Dad and my old friend Aghigh run a 5K at the local middle school. It was early, and chilly, but luckily I brought my heater:
For Teddy, the highlight of the morning was the giant sandwich:
The runners:
Saturday night, one of my college sorority sister Courtney, and her two adorable children, spent the night with us. They were on their way to Florida.  We had not seen each other in almost 20 years! It was so much fun though.  And the bonus- our kids had a blast playing together:
In fact, Teddy had his first "sleep over."  Although Nash decided to sleep with his mommy, Reese chose to sleep in Teddy's room.  The next day she told her mom that she wanted to marry Teddy because "he gave me his bed and slept on the floor."  SO cute!
Then, on Sunday, we went to visit one of my old clogging buddies and her family. Not only did we used to dance together, but I also used to babysit her!  Leo was excited to meet Carissa:
No wonder he was excited... they shared their car exersaucer with him:
I think he liked it!
Carissa's little boy Cooper is only a few months older than Teddy.  The boys had a great time playing outside together:

Since Leo seems to be going bald these days... we are considering a small hair piece:

maybe we could all use a new look:
What do you think?
