More January Fun

Shae's company has their holiday party in January every year.  Thanks to Aunt Mir-Mo and cousin Caroline, we got to get dressed and go out!
We had a great time.  And when we got home, they were cozy:
I made Shae pose with his awards from the evening:
Teddy got an awesome box full of art supplies for his birthday and he had a blast doing water color for the first time:
Leo has become so smiley and fun!  He loves to try to eat his feet:
And to crash his big brother's naps:
Handsome little man:
We decided to take one more shot of the cowboy monkey outfit before we retire it... it is getting snug on this little cowboy.  Yee-haw!

Catching My Breath, and Catching Up

We have had very VERY busy several weeks around here.  We have enjoyed celebrating Chanukah, Christmas, our Anniversary, Teddy's birthday, and the new year.  We also took at trip to Florida with Shae's side of our family.  So, I have slowly tried to catch up on laundry, and this blog.  And though this blog is much more fun than laundry, we were running out of socks (and everything else for that matter).  So if you are one of our four readers please check back soon- I will be updating everything.  Mainly because this is my form of scrapbooking, but also for our family and friends who live out of town and want to see what we are up to.  So when you check back, make sure you keep scrolling down as you read.  Because in order to keep it organized, I will be dating the posts so that they are in chronological order (so they will follow this post).  Thanks!

For the moment, I think I have actually caught up on this blog!  So if you haven't been here for a while, keep reading.   There are about 10 new entries following this update.  Now, I am going to bed (as soon as I finish the laundry of course).

Leo is five months

Leo is already 5 months old!!
Leo is a fun baby- he is very happy and smiley (unless he is hungry, tired, or his tummy hurts).  He is still working on his bottom two teeth and now the top too as well.  Leo has recently discovered his feet and he loves to grab them.  He has also started to become very interested in everything that is going on around him.  He has a huge grin that is contagious and I love the sound of his laugh.  He babbles all the time and he loves to watch his big brother play.
Outfit change:
Teddy is pretty fun to watch.  He is always doing silly things.
He said, "Mommy, look at my new bed":
He asked for soup one day for lunch and promptly ate up two bowls full.  The secret?
He wanted to use the cool spoon Grandma Judy got him:
One day last week BOTH boys were asleep... at the same time!! Wooohooo!  I should have joined them!  Instead I attempted to clean the floors, and finished wiping the entire dining room floor with a cleaner I found under the sink before I thought to read the bottle.  I thought I should check to make sure it was ok to use on wood laminate.  Ooops, it said, "Do not use on floors.  May make floors very slippery."  Great.  Good thing we are all so coordinated around here! Next time I will just crawl into bed with these guys:
Since cousin Maggie played One Direction for Teddy, he has repeatedly asked to hear them and sings them around this house.  This is our own version of "Live While We're Young."
Yes, we are all a little crazy around here!

Happy New Year!

We went to a neighbor's house to celebrate New Year's Eve.  There are many of us in the neighborhood with young children.  The party started at  4:00 and we did the count down at 7pm.  It was perfect!
Here he is with some of his buddies:
Teddy's favorite part of the party???  By far, the noise maker:
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Dinner with friends:
And of course some dancing:
They even had a party train:
The Hoscheks:
Of course we were all worn out on New Year's Day, from all that late night partying.
Lastly- I tried Leo in the highchair for the first time.  Poor boy is still a month away from solid food, but I am pretty sure if I could understand his babbling, he was telling me, "I'll have whatever he's having!"
Happy New Year everyone!
