Got Love?

We sure do! Which is why we LOVE to celebrate Valentine's Day around here.
I am a lucky lady... look at all of my valentines:
Unfortunately the boys and I were all sick the week of Valentine's Day.  We were sad to miss our Valentine's Day Party but Teddy still had fun making valentines for his friends.  He colored on each one and wrote the "T" for Teddy on each.
Then we added a chocolate covered marshmallow topped with heart sprinkles to each one.  Yummy and super easy!
Teddy chose the Spiderman valentines:
My friend kindly picked up Teddy's valentines, passed them out at the party, and brought Teddy's valentines home.  He was very excited to open them:

Leo's excitement of the day: drinking water from a cup.  Party time all around.

Oh, and he had bananas for the second time.  I think he likes them:
Here's another shot of two of my loves:

Even if we were sick and stuck at home, we still got dressed in our Valentine's Day outfits:
Leo in the infamous "Love Stinks" sweater that cousin Jack and Teddy both wore:
Sick boys = lots of video time:
We had a fancy dinner plans though.  Started with focaccia bread:
My boys with our red/heart themed supper.  On the menu: pasta with heart shaped pepperoni, strawberries and tomatoes cut into hearts,
and for dessert- heart shaped red velvet cookies and marshmallows on a stick:
with a side of cuddles:
Then it was gift time:
Teddy named  his bear "Valentine."  I was not going to buy any stuffed animals because they already have so many, but when I walked into Publix, guess what was staring at me?  This little valentine bear along with a little valentine lion... how could I refuse?
With two of my loves:
Even though the holiday is over... the spirit of it continues on.  Grandma Judy got some treats on sale after Valentine's Day.  Teddy helped decorate these cute mailboxes, named them,  and has been playing with them every single day since!
A few more random shots of the boys.  Happy V Day to you all!

Welcome Cousins!

We are all so excited that the Weinsteins have moved to Roswell!  We (I) made these GA Peach cake pops to welcome to them!
Teddy was so excited that his cousins got to spend the night with us for few nights.  It was like a playgroup that never ended! They had a blast playing.
We introduced them to our favorite mall and Aunt Shelley was kind enough to take all of the big kids on the carousel.

Biggest news though, they peer pressured Teddy into getting his first tatoo:
Aunt Shelley snuggling and reading with the big kids.
We are so happy that they are only a few minutes away now!  Not only are we looking forward to lots of play time with cousins, but I am excited to have a sister-in-law so close by!  And we are hoping to see more of our Iowa family visiting now that 3 of the four siblings are southerners!  Yee-haw!

Leo is 6 Months

I say this every single month.  But I really seriously can not believe another month has flown by and Leo is six months old!
He is such an awesome baby and his personality is starting to come out more.  He is happy most of the time, and he loves to laugh.  He also loves to watch his big brother.  We think he is a very social baby- he is happiest and most alert when making eye contact with others, babbling at them, and watching children play.  He is almost completely sitting up on his own now, and often says, "da-da-da-da."  He also loves to make the "hhhh" sound and a few times has said, "T-t-t."  Of course we think he was trying to say Teddy!  Leo has one tooth that has broken through and three more that are close!  His sleeping patterns are all over the place, though some nights he has gone as long as 5-6 hours with out eating, so that is progress! At his 6 month appointment he weighed 18.8 lbs and was 26 inches long.  The doctor was very pleased with how he is growing and thriving.  We were referred to a pediatric eye doctor because of a vision screening test, and we will follow up on the next week.  Otherwise, everything is going great.  We will be starting solid food this weekend- I am sure he is going to love it!  We are so blessed to have him and are so thankful for both of our sweet boys.
Recognize this outfit?
They could be brothers, right? Teddy and Leo were the same exact weight at 6 months, though Leo is an inch shorter right now!
As I mentioned, Leo loves to laugh, and we love to capture it on camera:
And since I am loading videos on here, this is one more I can't help but share.  Teddy has known his letters and their sounds for a while, but we have been working on blending them to form words.  I think he is starting to get the concept.  Yay Teddy!

Phone Picture Catch Up

My phone takes pretty decent pictures and I always have it with me, so I often snap quick shots with it. The problem is remembering to put them on the computer!  Hence the phone catch up post.
My boys:
Aw aren't they sweet? I may have already posted this one, but it is so cute...
What cuties:

First time in a big boy cart!
Cuddles in the morning
Brrr we have had a few cold days here:
Brothers at the table:
Now that Leo is practically sitting up, he can ride in the jogging stroller!  Hooray!  Here we are before our first run!
Shew, have I mentioned I have some juicy boys???
Teddy has a new obsession with Dumbo.  Thanks to BabysRUs:
Oh my I love this little guy:
Leg warmers are awesome!
After Leo's eye check at the pediatrician, they let Teddy wear the eye patch.  He loved being a pirate!
First time in a swing! He loved it!
Teddy filled up a sticker chart for pee-ing on the potty, so he got to choose anything he wanted from the dollar store.  He chose this flower, named her "Reesha" and took her home to her "Mommy flower."  He cracks me up!
He also climbed into this box one morning and demanded, "Mommy, pack me up, and send me to Grandma and Grandpa."  Have I mentioned how much he makes me laugh???
Oh this beautiful boy:
Playing "freeze" at our recent MOMS Club activity:
The other day he climbed into his Dora car and said, "Mommy, I am going to hit the house.  Like you do."  Then he proceeded to run into a bush.  Definitely my kid!
What he lacks in coordination, he makes up for in brains.  Check out the words he spelled... all by himself
The weather has been all over the place here. Lots of rain and some very cold days.  When the sun comes out, we definitely take advantage of it:
