St. Patty's Day, Easter, and other Spring Fun!

These boys have been keeping us busy and almost another month has passed!  Recently Teddy likes to "match" Leo when we all get dressed.  Check out their "work shirts" and khakis:
Teddy started swimming lessons again in March.  It had been a year since his last lessons.  After one week, we decided it was best for everyone if Shae was the parent swimming with Teddy.  (I was way too anxious as the teacher helped Teddy start to go under water!)
It is amazing how much more comfortable Teddy has become in the water after only four lessons.  This week he graduates up to the next class (where he swims with out a parent).  Here he is floating on his back by himself!  (He is in the red swim shirt):
After swim lessons we sometimes have to get to eat at China Heaven:
We hope everyone had a Happy St. Patty's Day!  Teddy had fun at a St. Patty's Day party. He made his necklace and this flag:
I had fun experimenting with some new cakepops
(beers, pots of gold, and a few sad attempts at leprechaun hats).
I made the sweets, while Shae made a potato pie to celebrate the day:
Fancy display of celery... Shae pretended it was an I for Ireland... we all know it was really for Iowa:
Shae enjoying his beer cakepop:
Funniest part of the meal was when I heard myself say to Teddy, "You have to try some of your potatoes if you want to have your beer (cakepop)."

Leo is becoming more active by the day and we are all having so much fun with him.  Teddy usually requests baths with his little brother- and they are just about the cutest things ever:
Couldn't get them both to smile at the same time but no one drowned:
Grandma Judy made the most adorable towel for Leo with a lion and his name on it.
Isn't he delicious????
And speaking of adorable... this may be my favorite picture ever.  I snapped it before we went to the MOMS Club Spring Fling:
It was a little bit colder than usual but that didn't stop Teddy from hunting for eggs:
Getting ready for the egg hunt... if you look closely, you will see cousin Harper in the back:
After collecting his eggs, Teddy sat and looked inside every single one:
And when we got home, we found a very cool surprise package from cousin Joanne.  It seems her favorite educational toy store was closing and she found lots of deal for us.  We LOVE all of the new toys!
Having a picnic with new toys:
The boys and I went to the Weinstein's to dye eggs.  Aunt Shelley took the lead and we made some pretty eggs:
Spring also brings us more treats from Shae's garden.  Teddy enjoyed picking, washing, and eating a salad:

Between all of the fun activities, we still find time for a favorite pastimes:
Napping and relaxing!
I still think Teddy, Leo, and Shae all look a lot alike.  Check out these copies:
Ooops...I can't find the photo that inspired the above two (I had one of Leo in this pose). But you get the idea!
Easter morning the boys found lots of eggs
Handsome Hoschek boys before lunch:
about 15 minutes into lunch:
I have been making a lot of cakepops lately; I have even turned down a few orders.  These are my favorite so far (they were for a 1 year old's birthday)
For a baby shower:
What to do with all the left over chocolate?  Yummy Easter treats:
Since December, the boys have gotten quite a few colds and it seems we have spent a lot of time at home.  I found a new way to entertain us all.  I taught Teddy how to take pictures and video with the Mac.  Here are a few he took:
I won't upload any of the videos (Teddy has literally entertained himself for an hour just making videos of himself!) right now. I would have to sort through (there are at least 20 of them).   By the way- the above picture was taken after Teddy requested we all wear our Braves hats.  GO BRAVES :)
Leo has continued trying and loving new foods.  He had (and LOVED) blueberries for the first time but they are messy.  Blueberries before:

Teddy has recently gotten really into superman (I think it was inspired by the Superman underwear Grandma Judy gave him).  His buddy had a Superman themed birthday party where they decorated their own capes.  Now Teddy calls his PJ cape his "nightime cape" and this one his "morning time cape."  I guess superhero's need more than one.
Here is my little Superman with the flowers he picked me:
We usually shop at Kroger but went to Publix one day. I didn't realize the way their carts are, Teddy and Leo would ride side by side.  What started out as a fun grocery store trip turned quickly into many teachable moments as Teddy yelled and screamed when Leo "touched my pasta."
Every time he screamed, I threw the box of noodles back into the cart.  Once he calmed down, I gave the box back to Teddy and gave him another chance.  Needless to say, we repeated this process too many times to count.  Sharing is a hard concept and I know we will get to continue practicing it for years to come!
I recently won a free session of music lessons for the boys at Music Therapy Services of Atlanta.  We have gone three times so far and all have absolutely loved it.  Here is an action shot of Teddy jamming to the CD we got after the first class:
Shae has traveled a lot this month and it has been hard for us all.  Thankfully Teddy has stepped up and helped out with some extra chores:
And when Shae came home, we all cheered!
One last picture of Teddy in his new car seat (his old one expired).  We like it so much we will soon be ordering a new one for Leo (as he is about to outgrow his infant car seat).
