It's that time again- catch up time. Here are a bunch of random pictures from April. First, the most delicious tummies of all times:
Even Teddy can't resist the juicy belly:
If what they say about April showers is true, we should have lots of flowers!!!
Our happy Leo:
Matching "Give Peas a Chance" shirts:
April is "birthday month" around here and we enjoyed celebrating Aunt Sammie, Uncle Hal, Grandma Judy, and my birthdays. But we had an especially fun time at cousin Jack's celebration because it was "Family Kareoke Night" at the pizza place where we ate. Teddy sang 3 different songs! Here is picture of he and Maggie singing, "Wagon Wheel". Cutest. Thing. Ever.
Leo had his eyes on the pizza the whole night:
When they weren't singing, Teddy and Maggie were dancing:
None of these guys were brave enough to sing:
When not out partying, Leo has been hanging out at home in the pool:
Aunt Sammie and Grandpa Steve came to visit and go to the Braves/Cubs game. Of course in preparation, I had to dress the boys up:
Teddy got to go to a game with Shae and his friend Nick and family. Teddy had a blast:
Shae made me an awesome cake for my birthday!
I almost believed I was only 29. And then I remembers my life at 29 and decided I was MUCH happier to be turning 39 than to be in my life 10 years ago!
I have been taking the boys to "Mommy Boot Camp" at the mall and love it. The great thing is Teddy is also enjoying it, because he gets to drive things like this garbage truck:
Here is a shot of a typical morning around here:
I got this steal at a garage sale and now our Halloween costumes are all planned! I love Halloween and especially love that my family will go along with my themes! Teddy LOVES to dress up in this new Pooh costume:
While Shae was traveling, I took the boys through the Wendy's drive through. Teddy randomly asked for a hamburger! He had never eaten one before:
Not sure what Leo is eating in this picture, but I just love the shot of his rubber-band wrist!
So, this month I actually went away for the night with some of my friends! We went to my parent's cabin in the mountains and it was the first time I was away from Leo for a night. And the first time I was away from Teddy since Leo was born. We had an amazing time! We ate every meal out, went to a winery for a tour, and stayed up late talking. It was perfect!
Thankfully Shae was awesome about the trip and encouraged me to go. I was nervous since Leo has not taken a bottle in a long time. But Shae kept telling me it would be fine. After Leo declined the three new sippy cups Shae bought him, by 1 am Leo ended up in the high chair eating "apple sauce soup". It worked and thankfully they were both smiling.
Shae was also lucky enough to take both boys to a 3 year old birthday party at Catch Air (an indoor jumpy madhouse) on Sunday.
Leo and his buddy Matthew hangin out:
We went to a music party the next weekend and Teddy got this awesome tatoo (he chose the rainbow unicorn all by himself. Definitely my child!)
The boys and I went to happy hour at Shae's work and Leo checked out his Dad's desk:
Our favorite recent discovery- Mum Mumms. Leo says they are delicious!
