May Fun!

May has flown by!!!  While it has been a busy month... we have had some time to relax:
And to make funny faces. This is my favorite Leo face.  He does it a lot, but especially when eating... and big brother is always ready to join in....  silly boys:
We went to Roswell's annual Touch-a-Truck event and all 3 boys had a blast.
OK, 2 of the boys had a blast...the other was stuck in a stroller the entire time.  But next year he will get the full experience!
Who's driving this thing??
By far the highlight of May was when Shae surprised me with tickets to see Darius Rucker.  Not only did he get the tickets, but he also arranged babysitting.  THANK YOU Shae and Aunt Shelley!!! We had a blast!!!!  Look at us.... KID FREE!
The boys showing off their new matching outfits.  Thank you Grandma Judy!
So, this next video is kind of long but funny.  Teddy loves country music (yay!) and one of his favorite songs is Miranda Lambert's Mamma's Broken Heart (happens to be one of mine as well).  We play it periodically for dance parties when ever the mood strikes us, or we need a little pick-me-up.  Naturally none of us can resist dancing when it gets to the chorus (Teddy almost dances out of his pants):
We had our last music class with Miss Beth and wanted to thank her, so we made her some music cake pops:
The biggest even this month is that Leo is now crawling!  This video is a few weeks old now, and he has since picked up speed.  But here he is only a few days after starting to crawl:

And since he is mobile and getting into EVERYTHING.... the pack-n-plays went back up.  Funny thing is- Teddy constantly wants me to put him in with Leo.  So funny:
At least maybe now I can fix dinner!

Mountain Get-Away

For Memorial Day weekend, we packed up the boys and headed to my parents' cabin in the north Ga mountains.  Teddy was excited to hold Shae's binoculars during the drive
(notice the ridiculous amount of stuff we "need" for 2 boys over 2 days in the background):
Yay we made it! And read for a walk in the fresh mountain air!
After relaxing at the cabin, we headed out to Lake Nottley on Sunday.  Not sure there is anything cuter than a boy fishing with his Daddy for the first time:
Shae also brought his inflatable kayak.  I love this picture:
Teddy and Shae on the water:
Glad we brought those binoculars!
While fishing and boat rides are great... nothing beats playing in the beach (ie- layer of sand on top of Ga red clay):
Leo had fun in the sand...
until he ate a big mouth full of that Ga red clay!
Luckily moods improved when we headed for pizza:
And it is always fun to take a bath with new (to us) bath toys:

So clean I could eat them up:
Leo and the bears:
And nothing says "vacation" like donuts for breakfast!!!
Monday morning we headed out to downtown Blairsville for the Memorial Day Parade we kept hearing about.  After searching for it, we discovered the parade is not held on Memorial Day... but was on Sat.  Hmmmm, that is definitely something to remember.
So we headed to the park instead:
Feet!! Don't you love them??? (The little ones)
Since Shae introduced Teddy to skipping rocks on water a while ago, Teddy is unable to pass by any still water without throwing rocks into it.   So adorable:

Happy Mother's Day!!!

To all the mothers out there... hope you were treated like a queen for the day. I am clearly living amongst royalty:
I started the day with a heart shaped delicious pancake and then was spoiled all day long!

We went to an arts/crafts festival in downtown Roswell and had a great time.
Then for dinner we met my family for dinner.  The boys sporting their new matching outfits- courtesy of Grandma Judy:
Earlier that day.... getting dressed:
Lastly, Teddy loves country music.  And he loves to play with our Mac and sometimes quite honesty, I am just happy it is keeping him entertained.  He loves to take pictures and make videos of himself.  He has figured out all kinds of features I had no idea it had. Check out some of the videos he made....all by himself!  First his favorite song: 1994:
Teddy's version of Miranda Lambert's newest song Mamma's Broken Heart:
Have I mentioned these boys crack me up? Every. Single. Day.

Leo is NINE Months Old!!

So, I am very behind on this blog but here goes....
Our baby Leo is getting older!
At 9 months he is so much fun.    He is showing more of his personality every day.  He is curious and very cuddly and he absolutely adores his big brother.  He weighed in at only 20 lbs at his 9 month appointment (actually down from his 6 month check up) but don't worry- he has plenty of rolls still... and chins.  He has an infectious laugh and always brightens the room.  Though he is still not sleeping well, he recently started medication for possible acid reflux; we have our fingers crossed this will help!  He recently started to crawl and now is into EVERYTHING!
Our big 9 month old:
While Leo has been busy crawling and growing, Teddy has been busy as well.  We recently attended a party where we take music classes.  Teddy was one of the first children to get a "tattoo"
He chose a rainbow unicorn! Made his mamma proud!
Silly face time:
And speaking of silly....
Did I mention Leo loves balls?
Here is Teddy singing one of his favorite songs from music class (accompanied by Leo):
Teddy playing with a lady bug at the playground:
Someone is a huge fan of the swings now:
One of Teddy's favorite shows right now is Super Why.  He was thrilled when Shae let him pick out Alpha Bit's cereal because Super Why was on the front.  And he ate up the entire box just so we could cut out the Super Why mask on the back.   That was several weeks ago.   Whenever Teddy decides to wear this mask (which happens quite frequently) he insists I call him "Super Why" and not Teddy.  Not to be confused with "Super Teddy" (what I have to call him when he wears his "morning time cape").  I love the imagination of a 3 year old!
