Other December Fun

If you read this blog, you know we have been very busy in December.  But we have had some down time for fun.   We stopped at Five Guys for supper after Teddy got his new fishing pole:
Look at our little lion:
We had a blast at our "pancakes and PJ's" activity early in the month.  It was the easiest MOMS Club activity we have ever gone to.  It is amazing how much easier it is to get out the door in the morning if I only have to dress and feed myself!  Teddy and his buddies enjoyed a holiday movie after pancakes, while the moms and I got to hang out and talk!
Leo is trying out his new "Zac Brown" look... what do you think?
Before we headed out to my friend's annual Christmas Dessert Party:
Grandma Judy bought this shirt for Teddy.  It says, "Little Flirt in training."  I think he has passed the training phase and is a professional!
Fun with his new lite-bright.
Aunt Judy and cousin Jamie visited on their way through town!
The boys and I also joined Shae for Happy Hour after work.  Teddy tried out Shae's new desk:
Shae and Teddy have also enjoyed a few canoe rides:
while Leo was busy eating bears:
We have also enjoyed some walks with the new wagon:
Unfortunately, we have all been passing a cold back forth between each other since we got back from the beach.  My sick boys have enjoyed a few videos while mending:
We also celebrated our 4th anniversary.  Shae brought me these beautiful roses and we asked Teddy to a take picture for us. Not bad for a 3 foot tall photographer:
We even went out for dinner to celebrate.  I got out my cowboy boots to wear...
I think Teddy likes them:
We got the movie The Lorax for Christmas and enjoyed a popcorn/movie night:
The rest are some random pictures from December.
Clean baby:
fancy baby:
happy baby:
And a few videos of my favorite new thing to do...
... make Leo laugh.  He has the greatest chuckle!

Pooh Party

Teddy chose to have a Winnie the Pooh party this year, and the theme was so much fun.  I went a tad bit overboard, as usual.
The front door:
Piglet balloon:
Pin the Tail on Eeyore:
As we got the house ready for the party, everyone got excited.  Especially Friend Bear:
I printed friendship and love quotes from Pooh and put them around the house to decorate:
Like I said, I went a little overboard:
Getting the food table ready:
Waiting for friends to come:
Yummy desserts:
The cake:

The cupcakes (with bumble bees on them):
Teddy was very excited:
And of course it is not a party around here until you have some cake pops:

On the menu we had Hunny Buns, Hunny Bears, Hunny Nut Oh's, Hunny Combs, and treats from Rabbit's Garden.  Along with some other random snack foods.
Finally friends arrived and we had a party!
Playing Pin the Tail on Eeyore:
Cake time!
If you are wondering where Leo is...
...this is what he was doing while we sung Happy Birthday:
Teddy singing, "Happy Birthday to Me"
Make a wish!
How many are you?
Cupcakes with friends!
Giving cousin Violet a hug:
Present time!
Teddy is one fortunate boy!
My neighbor had a new camera and she generously took most of the pictures and gave them to me.  She also had the idea to get all of the children to line up on the stairs for a picture.  We probably should have attempted this BEFORE we gave them all cupcakes!
Leo did wake up in time for a few pictures!
And look who gave him a bottle!

The party was really so much fun, but the after party (with the Gibson cousins) was even MORE fun!
There was singing:
a tea party:
and lots of dancing!
At the end of the day, I stole a hug from the birthday boy!

And he finally got to eat one of those cake pops!
Happy Birthday to my favorite 3 year old in the world!  Life is always fun with him!
